It's in the heart of Korea town. Food is really fresh and tasty! We will definitely go back!

First time trying Army soup! Tasted great! service was amazing. Im sure their other foods are just as great. It was packed until closing time. Will come back again!

Yukkejang was goood here :) Happy to have been here. Had a good portion, and had a nice kick!

Great restaurant! Here with my lover and we're having a great time. The staff is very kind and welcoming They know how to host and it's much appreciated! Most important thing The food is really good Not too salty, generously portioned and delicious We got the stir fry spicy octopus ( not too spicy at all so no worry ) and the yesterday's old time fried rice shaken as we were served Best fact of this establishment NO MSG hehe :D 1000 thank you and best of luck - Jun and Jacqueline

Came to get dinner in k-town on a Saturday night, and everywhere was CRAZY busy! So we changed gears and headed over to a casual sit-down rather than the more popular bbq joints. It was definitely a noticeable difference. Inside a smaller and much less busy mall off of Western and 3rd you can see a towering sign with the restaurant's name "Yeogiyo" or "OVER HERE" in big letters. Very conveniently the large sign hails our attention and we easily locate the restaurant and pull into the parking area. Note: enter from Western and not the exit so you can go right into the underground parking garage as you enter the parking lot. FREE and lots of spaces without the hassle of valet or street parking, a drastic improvement from the other dining establishments! We walk in and the server immediately greets and directs us to our table. No waiting lists or long wait times It's a big roomy table with comfortable booth seating. Lighting is dimmer with the single bulb fixtures strung from the ceiling and neon lit purple signs, giving a cool and modern vibe, so if you want more lighting I suggest sitting by the windows. They had the A/C running at a moderate and comfy temp, it was pretty warm outside since it's still summer. And an air purifier to keep the place smelling clean and tidy great attention to detail It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday evening so we weren't rushed to choose from our menu, which was good because they have a very big menu! Every Korean cuisine seemed to be listed there. The theme seemed to be seafood spicy and Korean home comfort. We ordered the Ggo-mak bibimbap (small clams and chives mixed with Korean spicy sauce and rice), Yeol-moo gooksoo (cold rice noodle and spicy radish soup with ponytail radish leaf kimchi), and dwenjang jjigae (Korean miso soup), and Eun Dae-gu jorim (Korean spicy braised black cod fish) All of the food are pretty spicy, Like authentic Korean food So we ordered the cod fish to be less spicy, and it was much easier to eat. If you have a hard time with spicy, I'd definitely recommend getting it the least spicy level. Even though the noodles and mixed rice dish were VERY SPICY it was SUPER yummy! I still enjoyed it because it tasted so good! Painful but worth it! I definitely recommend the Ggo-mak bibimbap. The small clams mixed rice had a lot of sesame oil so you can smell the fragrant aroma and the nuttiness with the fresh chives and clams. Tastes as good as in Korea I've been trying to find this dish since I came back to the states. And apparently the yeolmoo, young radish tail kimchi is homemade t it was so tasty! The braised cod when it came out was definitely the focal main course. It was marinated and cooked with a sweet and spicy sauce with radishes and tofu. All I can say is Wow! I've eaten it many times in other restaurants, and this one does a spectacular job! The fish is so tender and moist, and easily pulls apart from the bones. Very fresh and clean taste. The radish removes any fishiness from the cod and the spicy marinade is so addictive , pulling you in to grab more and more bites. Idk but I think it might even be better than Kobawoo's And of course banchan (side dishes) and rice comes included. Kimchi was fresh and very tasty. It's pretty spicy too. rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy! The real stars here are their seafood and spicy sauce, though! Tastes all very fresh and homemade! No MSG, additives or fillers, just pure and natural ingredients like Korean home cooking is supposed to be! And the best service! The moment you come in, feels like they want you to enjoy your time here, not rushed to order, eat, and leave like most places do in ktown. The guy serving our table was very attentive and quick to respond. Since it is the restaurant's name "YEOGIYO" , I really appreciated how easy it was to ask for him even though we ordered food twice , and he always noticed when we were needing anything else . He was very helpful in making sure we have a great meal, but without being too intrusive Kind, attentive and smart service. Really made our meal so much more enjoyable! And the owner was going around making sure all the tables were doing well. Really shows he cares about his patrons, and has a deep sense of pride in his restaurant. I really hope they do well, and get a lot of business! They really deserve it! It's been awhile since I found a really good, authentic Korean restaurant in ktown that also has such kind and attentive service, that really cares about their customers and the restaurant's image RESPECT! I'll definitely be back often for their Ggo-mak bibimbap, and I want to try all of their other seafood dishes, too! Yeogiyo is a top-notch restaurant that definitely deserves more recognition!

Hole in the wall for damn sure. Highlights: - free parking - attentive workers - quiet and clean - all dishes we got were rich in flavor Food ordered: - beef tofu soup (massive portion for the price, can serve 2 ppl) I've had tofu soup at other places and this one stood out to me. I'm a little snobby when it comes to flavor so this really impressed me. - seafood pancake was DELICIOUS, on the oilier side so we ate half and saving the rest for tonight - bibim naengmyeon was absolute fire. Not the typical ones you get with the sauce plopped on top. Even the broth was rich in flavor!! Super low key place that needs to get recognized more

I was there untill12:00 and workers are so nice and food was all Great! There is parking lot under ground for free. I ate pork BBQ and Yukkejan, egg pan-cake, seafood sun dofu. They are al good I will come back again^_^

Absolutely delicious! Grabbed lunch here and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the Bulgogi and all the sides that came with it were awesome. My favorite thing is that they had sides I've never seen at Korean restaurants before. Most places have the same stuff but this place had several I had never tried before, the waiter said they always change it up. One was roasted peanuts with some crunchy seafood, green kimchee and my favorite a little ham and egg pancake. Clean restaurant, great food and a very helpful waiter who explained all the items I didn't recognize. Update: Returned for dinner! Once again a great meal! Their beef dumplings were so perfectly crispy!

TL;DR - Delicious but on the pricier side. Ambience is nice and clean. Upscale-ish but nothing too fancy. Service is excellent. Okay, so it's a cold night. My wife and I go to the gamjatang place on the second floor only to realize they're closed that day. Damn... so as we head downstairs we realize there's this new restaurant. We scan the menu, peek inside, and decide to give it a shot. Ambience is great. They've got a rather traditional and elegant interior. Looking around I notice all the older Korean folk dining here and I know it's gonna be good. I was seated promptly and the tables and seats were clean. We ordered the seafood pancake as an appetizer, soondubu, and cutlassfish as entrees. As we wait for our main course we get a nice set of banchan. Not a lot of variety but what we got was superb. Every single banchan (side) dish was on point. I stopped myself from eating it all since I needed some room for the main stuff. Seafood pancake is absolutely packing. I get why the price is expensive, they load it up with ingredients. Definitely could eat it as 2 separate meals. Also fried just right- no raw batter despite the thickness and the edges were crispy adding that nice texture we all love in jeon. The cutlassfish was super moist inside with a nice crisp skin. The soondubu was nice and rich, very comforting on that cold night. The meat in it was a bit more lean than fatty (fyi). The service was great. We were seated promptly, we were taken care of, our water cups were filled, the to go boxes were nice and sturdy. No complaints. All in all a good experience. The only catch is that everything on the menu seems a bit expensive. It could be that it's because of the big portions but maybe I might prefer smaller portions for a cheaper cost. We ended up taking a lot to go so I guess on that sense it's okay.
